- 1897
- Matsutaro Tanaka started manufacture and sales of paper boxes at Yao Village,Osaka Pref., Japan.
- 1911
- Seizaburo Tanaka, former chairman, started supply of paper tubes for textile yarn,the first of its kind in Japan, to Teikoku Seishi Co., Ltd., a joint venture of UK Coats Co., Ltd.
- 1913
- Exported paper tubes to the overseas factory of UK Coats Co., Ltd., the first export of paper tubes from Japan.
- 1931
- Obtained patent of manufacture of paper tubes, the first patent of paper tubes in Japan.
- 1940
- Established a partnership company, Tanaka Paper Tube Manufacturing Company.
- 1960
- Built the Main Plant in Yao City, Osaka .
- 1969
- Established Matsuyama Plant.
- 1970
- Established Tsuruga Plant.
